Funny enough I caped every day in the hospital for three months when my mum was in. Vaped away whilst getting a tattoo today, nobody batted an eyelid. Vaped whilst having a cuppa in the wetherspoons last week and was asked to stop.

I asked them why as it wasn't smoking and they couldn't answer. Just unmed and ahed. I did as asked though. Cos I'm nice lol

The law is very specific and refers to igniting or burning tobacco products. Vaping is legal anywhere. However - pub landlords, hospital boards etc can choose to ban anything they choose on their premises.

It isn't illegal because you are not smoking.
I have happily vaped in my hospital bed on a ward for 2 weeks with the blessing of the doc and ward staff
