Northern Ireland is classed as mainland UK as it has postcodes so why the international shipping, i sell on ebay and i know this through experience, its Southern ireland that is classed as international??

I am sorry, but I dont understand what you mean, Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, Eire (Southern Ireland) is a totally independant state. If someone ships from Eire to the UK it is international shipping. If I understand it correctly, the item was showing as being tracked in Belfast. That is Northern Ireland, so it has crossed one border and has been tracked in Belfast. It has happened before when something has been shipped to the UK. I have seen it a couple of times on threads here.  It will probably then go on to either the Airport or across on one of the ferries to the mainland.
