Well. .. Some will know I just joined here, and I've just upgraded / ordered a vamo + 2 batts, charger and another Viva nova tank, then I headed over to switch to electronic cigs and ordered some dragon blood juice and more ecto plasma from juicy vapors (a favourite so far). Obviously had to tell the missus as she would be in to sign for the packages, told her how much it all cost and her jaw hit the floor along with the rest of her body soon after "I thought it was gonna be cheaper than actually smoking???!!" Haha so did I until I knew how awesome it was!

No ninja buying for me yet, but still VERY early days (2nd day today, 3rd starts @ 3pm!) She wasn't too chuffed at me spending £75 to give up smoking. So I made a spreadsheet, which I can show her after 3pm each day, to show that the cost per day is decreasing. Im still £57 in the RED at the mo, but that'll change next Friday, as I'll have saved another £16 or so on baccy. Once I start mixing, she'll have another fit, but hopefully, I can start that once I'm back in the green, and then she'll REALLY see the savings. At the mo, I'm very happy with my Riva 1100 kit (+extras ), but we'll see what happens in the future

Vaping can turn into a bit of a hobby too which I think helps a lot with keeping off the fags, experimenting, experimenting and more experimenting trying to find the perfect vape. Now you have your kit you will just need juice and some occasional replacement cartos or clearos which ever you're using, you will see the savings in no time and start to feel the health benefits day by day. Its when you start browsing around and see nice new things and shiny stuff when the spending can get out of control lol. Stick with it and if you need any help or support we are here to help you, don't be afraid to ask anything

The thing that inspired me to start vaping was the need to find some more money each month to feed the mortgage with - I didn't realise I'd end up with a new passion! I keep telling the husband that we're saving loads, but see the light of doubt in his eyes every time a new bit of vape mail arrives Probably a good thing we're in different countries for the next couple of weeks!

Don't have an OH, so it's not an issue . . . the dog is very understanding over my vaping purchases. Though I do enjoy forgetting what I've ordered, so it comes as a lovely surprise when a parcel arrives. SuperT Shockwave now on it's way, ordered/paid for a year ago last April. 18 new lubbly Organic flavouring concentrates on their way from across the pond. * Making this a both sex/canine/feline related thread, hope it's allowed Lenny. * The cat usually does looks at me all grumpy when vapemail comes......still he does get treats of the toy and munching variety so he cant grumble..........waiting for my organics to ship from over the pond too*very happy*

I was trying to work out if I'm anywhere near break even since quitting hand rolled for vaping. ???
I reckon I spent £40-50 a month on roll-ups. My missus spends over £3,000 on damn Mayfair cigs - and she gets all prickly when another little packet arrives vape mail. It gets me down, it really does. I reckon break even in another 2 months.

I used to spend about £100-£120 per month on GV, smoking was never really in my budget though so technically I've saved nothing lol.

I remember not buying the big (50g?) pouches and sticking with the half-sized (25g?). Then again, I'd often bring back 5 x 50g from trips abroad. I still have 600g upstairs. I guess I can't legally sell it on.

That way, you get the donations to put towards new vaping gear, they get cheap baccy, and once they have finished the GV, you can sell your older gear to the converted..........the circle has then been squared
