hi everyone.

I was given a couple of e cigs a few weeks ago and finally got round to trying one out last night. Two are the e health ones and theres another thats the same style as e health cigs but its all black in colour, not sure what make it is.

I was really surprised at how good they were and Ive hardly smoked any real cigs since. I'm going to attempt to quit the real cigs all together now but the e cigs I have are quite weak so i'm still having cravings for the real thing.

Ive been looking around online this morning and I've decided to go for something like the Riva. I'm not sure if I should go for the 501 or the 901. Can anyone advise me which is the best for starting with and where is the best place to purchase one?

also the refill liquid, which strength should i start off with? Ive been smoking about 20 roll ups a day. I do roll them pretty skinny so im not sure if i should go with the 24mg or the 18mg. or should i just get a mixture to see what suits best? I will probably start off with the small 5ml bottles until I know whichs flavours i like the best.

Hello & welcome Maxine

The Riva is a very good kit to go for with either the 901 or 510 version. Although I prefer 901 atomisers myself, I would recommend going for the 510 as there are so many more things compatible with the 510 thread.

Hi Maxine, so glad you found the ecigs and this forum. It's a bit early in the day yet but you'll be inundated with replies later.

A Riva is a good starter kit, I started on the ehealthy the same as you, I then moved onto a Riva and found it brilliant.

I was on 30 - 40 roll ups a day when i was smoking analogues. I started on a medium strength liquid around 18 mg and found this strong enough. I can't stand analogues now, the smell makes me feel ill! LOL.

You'll be amazed at just how easy it is to make the change over to ecigs

I've got to shoot now, I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction of a good option for where to buy your Riva. You can go for either a 510 or 901 as you can buy adaptors cheaply which allow you to use either atomizer.

Have a browse of our supplier thread too, there's loads there and some have discount codes that you can use.

If you go for the 24mg & find it too strong, you can always cut it with some glycerine - you will lose some of the flavour though.

Hi and welcome! The Riva is a good choice to start with. I would say go for a medium e liquid, then if it's too strong you can dilute it or if it's too weak it will still be usable until you get some more. Or get one of each.

blooming hell your all quick on here lol. just come back to thanks chrissie for the link to the 501 on the libery flights web site and theres loads more replies. well its ordered now and i ordered a small bottle of methol flavour just to be going on with in the 18mg. i will check out the other links when I come back online after tea and order a few more bottles to see which i prefer.

I wish I had tried one of these earlier. Been trying to quit smoking for years with no luck. I will definitely be telling friends about them.

Thanks again everyone. Can anyone recommend any flavours I should try? Not sure what it is i'm using at the moment, it just says yunyan on the bottle. Think it may be what my daughter brought back from china. It doesnt really taste of anything. something similar to whats in the cartridges that come with the healthy cig. Is there any that do taste like cigarettes or would i be best keeping away from those if I want to quit the real thing and try fruity flavours instead?
