had to post : on book 1 and although i have seen the series, the book is good so far. 2 chapters in and i'm hooked. i should have bought the book set but will get them one by one each week. hopefully, they dont get all samish as most do as they go on

been watching this had to catch up a bit lol but also started watching Banshee and the new Revolution yes by other means so far behind on these compared to the US, did try catch up with sky for Revolution till noticed to watch the further episodes rent @ £1.50 per episode,uhmm theres 19 already released other side of the pond!


according to this theres no GoT next week its memorial day in the states!

i have now ordered all 7 books but had a bit of a nightmare with the order. part 2 of book 4 etc etc. anyway, all sorted now and may i say, they are great to read. so easy. i'm still on book 1 just after the tourney of the Hand

knowing what is to come makes reading it more interesting. the book does give more information and is very much like the TV series...... so far .....

I liked the books. The 'screen writing' sometimes ruins the end result , but so far the TV series has kept it pretty close.

who is the ward of Ned who ended up imprisoned and tortured? bit of a weakling character. son of Stannis maybe?

I like the books, the series does digress from the books slightly in places and certain conversations happen out of sequence. They have kept it very close though. Haha Spikey, I said watching last weeks episode, out of everyone in Kings Landing, you could do a lot worse than Tyrion

I love the books and the series, they are all just so awesome! Theon gets a big part later on.

Theon Greyjoy from the Iron Islands. He is a hostage taken by Ned after the Greyjoys rebelled against the north. He is also the heir to the throne of the Iron Islands.

Possibly the worst portrayed character, the TV series doesn't really do him justice....NOT the actors fault I guess.
