I'm not sure I see the logic of the Mrs Lord deal. I pay their prices because I'm a Druide addict but who seriously is going to pay £8 for a 10ml bottle of Spotted Dick when you can buy it from yourselves for £4.25? That's a good point, but perhaps they are not charging £8 for it? I wouldn't know I'm not in the private members club lol. Now the chefs have taken on all the new concentrates, combined with their much loved own recipes, if they price competively they have the chance to be massiver than massive so whether mr and mrs Lord sell much spotted dick is probably the last thing on their minds. Also whilst you are buying your duide you will notice the spotted dick, check out the chefs website and place a large order there - voila. |
