Guests viewing forum

Am I imagining things or are the amount of guests growing by a huge amount?

I'm pretty sure I've never seen such high numbers before, there were 428 when I last looked???

Hate to burst your bubble Dee but a fair few of the guests are google bots

However, that's not a bad thing as they will be clocking all mention of e-cigs.

My misses rang me today asking me a few questions about the health e cigs as to of her work mates bought them over the weekend, they are defiantly starting to pop up more and more, till 3 weeks ago I had never even heard of vapeing,

Clutter, Googlebots are like little mechanical spiders that crawl around forums looking for tag-words. For instance if they see the words saucepan or kettle they would then pass these on to their controller and an advert for kitchen equipment could well show up at the top of the forum where the words were mentioned. These little bots are perfectly legitimate and are purely for advertising purposes or to assist with Google searching. As we're ad-free here they're rather flogging a dead horse where placing relevant ads is concerned. The busier the forum, the more guest-bots will appear which is all good.

That's my take on the little critters anyway.

I've often looked at who's on, who's been on and how many guests have been viewing, but I don't ever recall seeing such a high number.

From searches or actual views, it shows there's a growing interest, which can only be good

I really need some positive thinking so don't anyone dare shoot me down in flames
