rather than a bit of copper from a cable you'd be better off with one of these for a UDT-L

and +1 for the Evod, been a big fan ever since I started vaping, they're easy to re-build, plenty of vapour and flavour @1.8ohm

being bottom coil they're not amazing in the throat hit department but I vape 24mg Strong Menthol mostly and that's all the throat hit I need.
