A member of the forum sent me an intresting pm yesterday which quiet intrigued me really.
He wants me to do a review on duel coils from different vendors as apparently he said ones were better from supplier A rather than supplier B anyone else ever found this?

Interesting Roachie . . . not beyond the realms of possibility as I'd imagine there has to be more than one factory in China producing these.
Do the innards fit the Map/Arry tanks does anyone know or tried?

The only thing I would say Roachie is that you may have heard rumours that the different types of DC perform differently.
I was told that the black DC was good but not as good as the clear. I cant give an opinion because I haven't tried the black one.
Personally I think the stainless steel one is the best, but that might be psychological because it looks the nicest.
So it would be best to compare clear to clear, black to black etc.

I think Arry has just produced a new tank for them Perpy. Oooo, thanks for that heads up Jason - his tanks are great, an improvement on the original Map Tanks I've personally found.

Perpy, you can fit a dual coil carto in your map tank, works perfectly and saves you buying another tank

I'm having great trouble understanding the Map/Arry tanks. Ian, do you mean that if you put the innards of a dual coil carto into a tank you can fill the tank with juice and it will soak into the carto stuffing (presumably requiring a soak for a while then a top-up), thus saving dripping and/or condom filling? scylla

Hi Scylla, the dual coils work slightly differently.Arry has now moved on and designed tanks for actual cartomisers. What you do is use a hammer and nail and pierce a small hole into the carto shell until you see the filler material. You then fill your cartomiser as normal and add to the tank. You then fill the tank to the level of the wadding inside the carto, add your top cap and vape. Its similar to a UFS,what happens is as you vape away juice is constantly fed into the carto via the hole. Its a pretty simple idea but works amazingly well when you get it rite.Hole has to be made 14mm up from the threads and you have to be careful not to go to deep into the carto to,if you go through the centre of the carto then juice leaks from the connector.Arry has designed a tank specially for the dual coils but you can just fit them easily into the map tank to save a few quid

I've been thinking about PM-ing to you for weeks because I knew you were a dab hand at modding tanks Well, I've got XL clearos from Camper now, they work a treat and should last me several weeks, then I'll have a think about an Arry. One advantage of spending lots of time indoors is that you don't have to worry about refilling out 'n about. scylla
