It may have redesigned tubes/screen, but if they carry on glueing them together without testing for electrical conductivity they will have a similar fault liability.

I am shocked at the over use of hot glue I found inside mine.

icon_prayYou are expert in this field. In other word, you showed your professional knowledge, and we admire that. Actually the APV V3 don't glue them together, instead, a screw is used. I guess the problem of hot glue won't happen again.
