Well mine just arrived and I had a coil/wick made up ready and had found a foam earplug

First thing I did was flood it. Note to self - a third is quite a bit smaller than a half

I've re-done it and it's vaping like a goodun

Can't find the post - but if i remember rightly - on one of the forums someone used the new Vivi metal tanks with the plexiglass panel - and made a hole in the plexi and popped a screw from an iGo in it - to make a fill hole.
Seemed worth a go - so ordered a couple from Jas - should arrive tomorrow and will have a try and post me hamfisted results- certainly worth a punt

Listen mate I used a red hot needle to penetrate the tank wall and left the drill out as it can be a little difficult to start it off in the correct place with a drill because of the bevel on the tank.
Then i used a self tapping screw to cut a thread and open the hole up and then to finish of the the re-fill hole I used a small screw from the spare one I had with a IGO l dripper nice size little screw and it seals like a ducks arse.

Will set up tonight and give it a go!, on my my newly delivered Drawtube mod. (happy days).

Have also placed order with VE for Vision steel window tank, to try out screw fill method suggested.

Just built me first coil - 5ish wraps of 0.10 x 0.50mm nichrome ribbon wire - 1.5 Ohms and used 3.5mm Silica.

Bit of a squeeze but just about fits (threads cut off the excess silica) - the draw is a bit tighter, Better Flavour, and Vapour Production increased and a tad thicker too.

The modifications are certainly an improvement from the mk1 version, the redesigned top cap eliminates the O-ring sealing problem, the air hole is a much better size and makes for a more realistic draw and the SS bell chamber means that there's no plating to strip away- and it vapes every bit as good as the mk1 vaped, filling isn't much of a problem when do it the way described in that vid, I'd be happy to recommend it now

I can't see any reference to it being SS and I cannot see the extended one on the site ???

Also no one replied if parts from the V1 (plated) are interchangeable with the V2?

The tank is interchangeable with the mk1 des and the vivi nova tanks all fit too mate
