Hey guys its kinda worth checking the bottom of the responses to this thread now as the original questions were answered long ago! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL POST: I am relatively new to vaping BUT I have been a good girl and done some HOMEWORK before buying I'm thinking of buying all parts seperately rather than going for a beginners pack, and I would be SO GRATEFUL for any advice about the most compatible models etc. Oviously please feel free to correct be- this is like learning a new language! :-[ I'm (tentativley) aiming for: - high battery-minimal size (yes I know ) - low-medium resistant atomizers- best models anyone? - cartomizers over straight cartridges and drip- thinking rapid flavour switching... - would love to get hold of a model that fits a USB pack-charger thing... do they all fit these, or are they model-dependent? - at the mo I'm leaning toward the mini or the super as (sorry) they just look so slinky... Are either of these or any other model a safe bet with LR stuff? Any feedback would be AWESOME- I apologise if these are stupid questions and/or should have gone in the newbes forum- mods obv please feel free to move me! Cheers Jessypoo

Hi and welcome Jessy
I am on my way out but will try and give you a few answers.
Batteries - they come in different powers, not resistance. Try to go for something rated as 650mAh or higher.
Atomizers - Come in Low, Standard and High resistance. Low resistance generally gives a greater throat hit on standard batteries, but they don't last as long.
Cartomizers - These are a combined atomizer and cartridge, they can usually be refilled many times and are pretty economical.
Sorry, got to run, but I'm sure you will get loads of answers as the day goes on.
Jason

ps. also considering the ejoy 306 or the kr808 although the overall compatability potentials of either model seem dubious... any thoughts?

Hello & welcome Gorjess! I have indeed moved your thread to where it's more suited . . . to answer some of your questions before other members awake and give their advice. Any LR atomisers won't be suitable with either of the mods you're thinking of - despite their slinkiness. The battery size can't handle the extra oomphage required to power them, I'd always recommend an Ego/Tornado/Riva type ecig to a new vaper, a number of our lovely Suppliers sell them. Here's a review of the Riva 901, although the 510 atomiser is a more popular one - the principle is the same. Have a look and see what you think. Tank kits are also very popular, have you come across them yet in your research?

Avoid would be my advice, because of the difficulty in obtaining supplies. What part of Bristol do you live Jessy, as that's my neck of the woods. I also have to pop off, dog to walk blah blah - but other members will be up and about soon.

hey Jason thanks for that on the batteries I've modfied it accordingly!
thanks for that Perpetua- hehe yes I know slinkiness really should not be a factor, but I am but a material girl (doo doo doo)
*sigh* I suppose they do look reasonable... would the Riva 901 or 510 support LR atomizers?

I'm in Yate Jessy . . . and yes the Riva and similar will power LR's very happily . . . there's lots of sexy mods believe me, that aren't necessarily slinky. Pooch has now arisen, catch you later >>>>>>>>>>>

Hi Jess,
I have one of the super mini's at the moment and it's ok but not fantastic. The battery doesn't last very long on it for starters and the vapour you get is a bit lacking.
After much discussion on here and research I am getting a 510, they are still slinky and not much longer than the super-mini. Also you can buy extra bits for them like different atomisers and batteries so you can customise it to be right for you. The 510 fitting is very popular and a lot of the bits are 510 fittings.
I should point out that I am a newbie too lol but just thought i'd put my two pence worth in :-)

Have a look in the suppliers thread, a lot of them have discounts just for the guys in this forum and you might find something you like in there. That's my plan, support the little guy and all that.
Thanks, It's my favourite of the 4 tats I have.

Hi and a warm welcome to AAE-C, If you wanna starter kit that isnt going to break your bank and will see if you like ecigs at the moment. Totally wicked have a sale on but not for long they have a pink mini starter kit for £17 at the moment. www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/mini/tecc-electronic-cigarette-starter-kit-product.htmlBut that only comes with 180mah battery Which if you vape alot then it wont last you long at all.But if your a low-average vaper then will get you thru around roughly half of the day.E-cigs are a very big learning curv but once you get the hang of it all and learnt the ropes you will be well on your way.

Hi g0rejess, this would be perfect for a newbie. battery has 510 threads so you can use a 306 and different carto's and clearo's. The 510-t is also an excellent vaping tool although the carts arn't over big. Standard mini and 510 batts don't last long enough and unless you get a pcc, you are constantly charging them. www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-innokin-lea~111
