Perfume taste (Swedish fish)

I ordered some swedish fish from a vendor on here after hearing good things about it, recieved today and the it tastes really strongly of perfume / chemical.

I thought it might be my taste buds going haywire so got the missus to try it (she neither smokes or vapes but enjoys trying all the new juices I order) and she agrees.
Then just to make sure, I got a friend who is a smoker to try it and he agreed it tastes incredibly strong of perfume.

Will steeping help with this? There is an undercurrent of what the actual flavour is supposed to be, so was hoping steeping would help?

Also tried it in an iclear / nova / mini nova / evod at different watts and volts on my vamo and all the same.

I'd leave it to steep . . . especially if it's been freshly mixed Arrowmunda. 


It's a really popular flavour, but that doesn't mean it will necessarily be one for you even after some steeping time..

I think I've read before that leaving perfumey juice with the cap off for 24-48 hours often gets rid of the nasty taste, maybe worth a try?

I had exactly that problem. Left it to steep a couple of weeks, still didn't like it. Ditto Jack the Ripple and Green Steam. But then other people seem to love them! To me it tastes like some kind of sweetener, or maybe it's a flavouring they use, I dunno. I just chalked it up to experience and sold them on to people who like them (I hope)

Thanks guys I'll leave it with the cap off for a couple of days then give it a try, if still no good I'll give it another week or so and trade it here

Incidentally I don't taste any perfume but there is a kind of "fizz" some call it

I was told you shouldn't leave the cap off as the nic will evaporate and the juice will absorb water. That's what I was told anyway.

I'd just leave it for a week or so as I said in the PM. Few days won't do the trick. Wait till you see a good bit of colour change.

Well.... Now I'm not sure what to do lol cap on? Cap off? I've left the cap off for 9 hours put it back on and gave it a shake. Probably just leave it with the cap on now for a week (Thanks jerri)

I usually just throw new juice in a draw and leave it for a few weeks. But I have steeped without the cap on with zero ill effect.

I loosen cap and the needle tip inside but I don't completely remove lid. Give it a good shake twice a day too... Hope this doesn't help too much as I want more Swedish fish

Haha! Well after a lot of searching the net I went with leaving the drip bit and the cap off for 2days then shaking alot then leave it with the cap on for 2 weeks with a good shake every day.

I didn't manage 2 weeks, just had to give it a little try and it tastes so much better, another week in the cupboard should help I reckon.
