Wheres the Best Place to Sell a Sony Xperia Z?

I've got a Sony Xperia Z 16gb (the waterproof, dust proof flagship phone from Sony)
But I dont like it. So much so, I've gone back to using my nokia n8 and boxed it back up so it keeps in mint condition.

I want to sell it and I don't want to sell on ebay.

Where's the best place to sell it?

I wish I could sell it on here because I know I wouldn't get messed about but the rules forbid it.

Have you tried Orange's recycle scheme ? I got good money from them for my old Android HTC, enough to pay for my iPhone.

Most recycle schemes only give £250 max. On ebay they go for £350 to £420

I'm keeping my Lumia 900...got it today and I love the Metro UI. So glad I didn't go for the Z, I was tempted

Facebook usually has a few local sites for selling, best way of doing it is to ask for more than you want and set your lowest in your mind so you can barter to it. Same with Gumtree I think, just make sure you check all the notes as have heard of a few getting scammed with fake notes. And don't take fifties!

Well I'm looking at switching to a htc one and then getting it sent off for waterproofing for £35ish
I love nokia but there choice not to go with android has put me off buying another nokia until they change there mind

Gumtree or free ads also there's a few local selling pages on Facebook that seem ok. I sold a phone on gumtree last year went ok just meet the person somewhere safe and don't go on your own.

I don't like how they charge you for posting an ad and then charge you again for selling and then you get charged for using PayPal which ebay owns! Total rip off.

Anywho, after faffing around I've taken some shots and posted it to gumtree. Although I cant see it yet.

Strangely the Metro UI is one of the most intuitive and non-invasive ones I've seen.

No constant bings from email and Facebook stuff, it's just...quiet

Hi Chiller, do you have a CEX near by if so you can sell it to them for cash or you can get a bit more if you have a voucher from them to use at any of the cex stores, i find ebay a better bet and it is a lot safer to sell this type of product now as long as you send special delivery
