Sat in my wheelchair on a grassy bank next to the sea watching the grand kids make sand castles and collecting shells. Blue skies, sunshine and a nice breeze. All I need now is for my niece to hurry up with my ice cream. What more could I wish for?......nothing

My niece and her husband came over from Watford and asked if they could follow behind my car to get them to the A127 as they had no sat nav. Ended up getting stuck in all the traffic leaving the beach

It St Laurent de la Mer, Dolly, about 15mins from me. The tide goes out for miles, but it's beautiful when the tide is in & I caught it just right today. Sorry about your traffic snarl up today, but hope you all had a great time at the coast.

France has such beautiful countryside and sea scapes. We have driven from top to bottom.

Yep, it certainly is, so big & so varied. Mind you, the UK isn't half bad either.

Oh I know what you mean Dolly, its the sea air and the tranquility of the sea I think, it sends ya sleepy. It be nice to live in a beach house and have beautiful surroundings and be able to listen to the waves (the hypnotic sea waves) but the downside is that I would never get nothing done because I be lazy for the rest of my life.
Have to win the lotto I think.
Glad you had a great day with your family.

I feel bad bursting your bubble stamina, but, when I livedin Adelaide before going to Sydney, we rented a house right on the edge of a cliff right above the waves. I would lay in bed in the morning listening not just to the waves but to a local pod of dolphins who would chatter below my window. It was the most wonderful mind blowing feeling at first. But, after a year i barely noticed it, which makes me sad to this day. I guess you really CAN have too much of a good thing, but, I will go to my grave oh so grateful I experienced it.

Wow I am envious. Dolphins are lovely. I can't remember seeing one for real but I do especially love the movies they appear in, they always make me happy unless the plot is bad for them and then I start to bubble, It must of been great listening to them. I wonder what they were saying. Its a lovely memory for you to treasure, I started to support Miami Dolphins back in the 80s when Dan Marino use to play for them only because It had dolphins in the name and I also gave to save the whale when I had money (that was a bit random). How long did you stay in Adelaide you must have lots of fond memories living there. The nearest I get to listen to the sounds of the water these days is when the tap is running.
