probs with the dream and drawtube

for starters the dream will only work on the drawtube and when it does the button gets hot really quickly

It point blank refuses to work on my silver bullet or any other mod

Now when I do get it to work (rarely) I'm getting a lot of dry hits. Have rewicked using todd's method and I'm still getting dry hits and a horrible burning taste....

Any ideas....Yes the spring is inverted. This is my second dream and I'm not very impressed....

Hi jane i must admit i was having a similar problem rewicked with my own wire and ecowool positioned directly above drawhole ok for a few mins then nothing but burning hits. i then rewicked to leave between 5-10mm of wick hanging into the clear tube so juice could definately be drawn in and still the same thing i have now ordered two new iclear30 for hassle free vaping my kayfuns are the only thing that realy seem to be hassle free but with only 2 of them and atleast 40 juices to choose from its not quite enough i like to have a few on the go at the same time:)

And the drawtube is now practically eating batteries....going through them at a rate of knots....

do you test your coils with a multimeter first it is probably your atty. how many wick/coils has it done this with

I had similar issues, also had times where it would go from low load to nothing connected. unscrewed the base, wiped the base and centre pin along with the spring. Couldnt really see a reason for the issues, put it back together and it was fine again. I know it doesnt help in the way of explaining what the problem is but, hey, worth a try

sounds like a short to me , i would start by re coiling your atty, i use a nautilus on my drawtube and was getting a hot button and bad burnt taste yesterday so recoiled and its fine now

yes its a short recoil it , mech mod has no cut out for a short thats why its trying to fire it up.

As far as the Dream not working on other mods, I have found the centre pin in mine is loose (possibly from overtightening) and I have to push it down to get it to make contact sometimes. Having said that I cannot get it to work on my MVP whatsoever.

still not tryed my dream yet, can't decide which way to rewick it to get the best vape from it, but it looks lovely sat there on the draw tube as a ornament.

I just got it working using the chrome base and extended spring on the silver bullet. Have no idea why the drawtube heats up so badly when it's on there....

But why worry - tis working now on my silver bullet. Just stretched out the spring, put on the chrome base (not the SS base - they are different I have discovered) so one happy bunny now...

Got clever and put it on my drawtube...Dang dang dang...one spring flung into the deep recesses of the lounge...now a short on the silver bullet....any ideas folks?

Deffo shorted. Spring has shrunk and now can't get it to extend. I need more springs!!!! Or an alternative to the spring for the dream....this is going to be my quest for the next week at least LOL

Just got my spring and in the process of exchanging my drawtube for a K100 (or 101)...anyone tried the K100? On the look out for a roller when I have the funds ....

Working tickety boo now....

Don't think Charlie has the spare springs for the dream on the website yet but still...worth an email if you do bust them because like they won't extend if you've shorted them
