Its not exactly clear how they are putting it out size wise , But if they are using decent quality materials as suggested then the price tag ain't to bad .

The clone tag will make it an uphill struggle if your looking for a group buy, Clone and copy is a definite no no if its copying a flag ship device no matter what the prise or quality.

Not so sure about that Oxo . . . when you consider the popularity of the Nautilus, Terminator and Euforia all very, very good copies of the GG originals.

If the quality is right and it's available, then I'd suspect a Caravela copy could be very successful . . . as beautiful as they are, not everyone wants to wait a significant amount of time to get one, that's where the clones/copies score a lot of the time on their availability.

Not so sure about that Oxo . . . when you consider the popularity of the Nautilus, Terminator and Euphoria all very, very good copies of the GG originals.

I agree with you Perps. I would buy Caravelas, Poldiacs and the like by the bucketful if I could afford it but I can't so I have to be happy buying clones if they are decent enough quality. I'm sure the mod makers are getting the hump about their designs being stolen but they are responding by putting out special editions such as the Paps Lux, and those that can afford exclusivity will buy them as before.

There will always be folk who will only want an ' original ' of anything Chrisss . . . and that's fair enough if they have the money and don't mind waiting for the item. Good luck to them as these bespoke devices are things of beauty that will last forever.

But a good clone or copy gives a larger number people the opportunity to try something a little different, at a more affordable price.

Which I can't help but feel is a positive thing.

Try telling that to everyone who bought the Dream atty. Looks like a Kayfun. Vapes like a Kayfun. Costs a fifth of the price of a Kayfun. Sold out as quickly as a Kayfun. Clone is not a no-no, it's a yes-yes if done properly.

This reminds me of the zen hybrid being thrown around a while back. Alibaba showed 'shopped pics of actual zen(logo removed) and when they finally put out the product it was terrible. Nothing like the original pictures...There it is.
