I was sat thinking last night as you do......
We have blood banks etc to call on when needed, why not start a juice bank aimed at new users where we donate a small amount of juice of different flavours to a central location, just 1 or 2 ml of each. So that new users can speed up the process of finding a juice they like.
can be premade juices or homemade juices. We all have a last little bit of juice lying at the bottom of a bottle thats going spare.
conditions: must be new users must pay the postage
Your thoughts and comments welcomed.

too many health and safety regulations needed. even if not for sale, they still have to pass stringent guides

just for the record i think its a great idea and H&S regs stink! now the thing about H&S is that 99% of it is common sense....... but 99% of people do not have any common sense

I've got loads of juice I don't like I'd be happy to donate (since I can't flog it lol), but I think this would involve a commitment from a central organiser person to oversee and control it all. Re waivers and whatnot, unless you get a proper legal eagle to draft it, it's worthless. You can tell someone you're going to punch them in the face, get them to sign a form saying you've warned them, but it's still illegal to punch them On the other hand, the classies seem to be working just fine - not sure I see the big problem myself.

Fair point, Ok then what about just having a central thread thats stickied where users can post juice for gifting to new members, then it's no different to people selling or trading their excess liquid? Classies?

Classies? Classies = classifieds I wouldn't want a donor to get into a situation where donees (is there such a word??) - recipients pick and choose what they want. If you're donating it's cos you want rid and to make space. So I'd suggest an all or nothing deal. OR - donors send their bundles to a central person who lists everything available, central organiser refunds postage. Recipients choose from that central list, central person sends it out and charges for postage as required. Pros and cons to both options, I think.

Another point to consider is any bottles donated that are 20ml or bigger are too fat to fit through the standard letter measuring thingy at the post office so will cost £3 minimum to send.
Might be worthwhile making sure all bottles are 10ml max or could end up costing the recipient £6 for their free juice ???

why newbies only? i want to try loads of new juices too Fair point .... Could we not just set up a section where members could post any juice they have spare / want others to try then. Buyer picks up postage costs, no double handling ...simples
