When freezing nic base in glass bottles do you fill to the brim to reduce air oxidizing the nic or leave a gap for expansion, have been going through threads and seems to be some conflicting advice, Have seen a couple of people say they leave a gap for expansion and saw this on ECF Long term storage A quote from Kurt (ECF): fill them almost to the rim, put in the insert and screw on the cap. Morpheus(ECF): There's some water in PG and VG, but the rest of the PG/VG acts as anti-freeze and keeps it from even thinking about becoming ice. I've never noticed any expansion in the freezer at all. PG/VG actually shrink as they get colder, so that would help offset the water's increasing size--and there's really not that much water in there.
So for those with personel expirience that have put nic base in freezer what do you do, filling to the brim to reduce air oxidizing and degrading the nic seems the best

I don't fill my bottles up to the brim, for no other reason than it makes it easier to decant if the bottle isn't overflowing. Also I've never noticed any expansion Robdel . . . and I've got a fair few bottles frozen believe me. Neither does it freeze solid, rather more thickens. Each to their own I guess, but I quite happy with the way I store my nic base. Though my friend whose freezer drawer I've also taken over may have different thoughts.
