Spares For Re-Coiling CE5 Heads ??

anyone know where you can buy the silicone bungs that sit between the metal +ive plug and the -ive casing for CE5 heads and help hold the wire in place?? I need some, that aren't rubber......

Do you mean the little rubber bit with the metal nipple poking out that covers over the coil and that the drip tip then touches when you screw it in?

Why do you need metal?

Neil - ey up mate, long time no hear I NEED silicone ones, the rubber ones on the CE5/6 I got from fasttech are burning and making them taste like burned tyres , so I just thought rather than buy some new heads if I could just get the bungs......

You may be able to reduce the burning by using 0.2 wire, or doubling up by twisting the wire together on the legs and leaving the coil single, fiddly but should work.

Thats what I was going to suggest. double and twist the legs and they dont heat up. Oy DiscoDes read your other post re lavatube template lol.

Hes got some nice shiny chrome ones though if you want to have a look at them pop in and tell Kat they are the ones I was looking at the other day.

No mate it reduces it hence easier flow of current=less heat.
