After having bought the failed fastech vivi nova with the blocked air hole (although i did fix it ok) I thought i would try the Vision version.
After trying it am very disappointed no flavour, not much vapour not much of anything really, seems a really airy draw, not sure if that is the problem, have ramped up the volts but only improves marginally.
anyone have any tips on improving the performance
Thanks Mark

I don't like certain juices in a Vivi Nova i.e. tobacco or some pudding flavours. I find them better with fruity flavours!

Did you dry-burn it before you started. Sometimes (25%) they have really oily coils....yuk.....
What head are you using. (Total watts?)
Panic not, please.....if it fires, you'll get it vaping, just might need to make your own head......
Where's it from?

That's got to be a safe bet...(Vape Space)..... I only ask as I inadvertently bought a "Nova" last week I thought was Vision. Bad 1+1=3 with that Vendor. Not really his fault.....but I was looking at "Vision" branded products and it came up in a box underneath the real one.

Why not try an adaptor. Good luck.

The Dual Coil heads are very good on the Nova as Giles says . . . it could also be your coil ' running in ' Promark, I find they're not always brilliant from the start.
If you're using something that has an Ego threading, have you a plinth as that could help the airy draw for you.

I have never owned a Vivi Nova, although I have thought about getting one. Someone said that it vaped too airily for their taste. I have a theory on airy vapes. All you need to dois restrict the air inlet. First locate the air inlet hole or holes. If you cant find it/ them, do the following. Take a good drag, and halfway through, change from sucking to blowing. Vapour will come out of the air hole. If there are two holes, cover one with your finger and try a drag. If this is better, cover the hole with a small sticker or a piece of sticky tape. If there is only one hole, try covering it with a sticker. Then make a tiny hole in the sticker with a needle. Gradually enlarge the whole until you get the desired result.
I have often thought that someone should make a device with a variable air inlet. A bit like the choke on a carburretor. It would have too uses, finding the ideal vapour air ratio, and also a means of cutting down by gradually increasing the air over a period to give less nicotine.

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to build a duel coil for the vivi nova Stv?

With a plinth on an ego battery, you can pretty much take all the air out of a Vivi Nova. There are some *dodgy* brands/vendors that sell stuff with adjustable air-flow bands (?), but it's just another gimmick to justify the extraordinary kit prices.

I have to say that all my novas both vivi and mini are not airy at all, especially compared to the pro tank and evod.

I have to say that all my novas both vivi and mini are not airy at all, especially compared to the pro tank and evod. I agree - my protank is airy almost to the point of being tasteless, and my evods are airier than any of my novas. I find the draw on the dual coil tighter than the single coil, but that may be how I wick them. Do you know if these fit the vision novas giles? My novas are all vivis, from vapeescape. I'd ask the supplier of the heads. Can anyone point me in the direction of how to build a duel coil for the vivi nova Stv? I think it is robby who builds dual coils for his novas using an ordinary (as opposed to dual coil) head. I think he has a thread on it somewhere. Otherwise, ask if the dual coil head fits the Stv. I did a thread on rewicking that - allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/22592/rewicking-vivi-nova-heater-photos
