Please help. My ego's are driving me crazy!

I hope someone can help work out what's going on here:

Last night both my 650 and 1100 egos seemed to run out.  I put the 650 on charge for about an hour then out the 1100 on and went to bed.  This was at about 4am and I took it off charge at 9am.  Neither of them are working!  

I've put a video up instead of trying to explain it all:



I should also say that the charger is connected to a regular iphone adapter, and i've tried different sockets and my laptop.  There's clearly current going to it.  I've also fiddled with the connections and lifted them up slightly.

These batteries are so annoying!

I have no idea how to fix your problem (with batteries) But I do need to point out that your title does suggest severe schizophrenia I do occasionally struggle with my ego too ..... and so do I

anythintreet... Have you another USB charger you can try. I had similar problems when I first got my kit, and it turned out to be the lead, not the battery. So I've always got a spare lead & mains charger in order to test out which is the culprit.

One other point, without teaching you to 'suck eggs', but please don't leave a battery charging when you go to bed... you could wake up in the open air!

No i dont have a spare charger. I'm going to take it back to the shop tomorrow to see what they think. Only had it 3 weeks!

Yeah, It was a bit naughty going to bed wasnt it. I usually dont but BOTH batteries had gone and it's hard to charge in the day when its constantly in your mouth!

Havent been able to vape since last night. this isn't good!

Clean the battery contacts and the charger contacts with a cotton bud with a drop of vodka or isopryl alcohol on there. Also check you centre pin in your batteries is making contact:

Does the LED on the charger go red when you attach the battery?
Does the button on the battery flash when you attach to the charger?
If neither of the above happen try raising the centre pin.

Looking at the video all the way through now .... I reckon a faulty charger.

Not only that, he also lent me a spare battery to keep me off the cigs until I sort it out tomorrow!

Quick update:

the charger stamina kindly lent me proved my suspicions that the batteries were knackered. a few hours later whatever charge was left in them had gone and i couldn't even get a flicker. As its a Halo Ultra Tank kit I emailed smoker's angel about it and they offered to replace if i sent them the old ones, but I went to the shop I bought it today and they did it for me then and there. It must be a common manufacture issue with them since I was told they had been sent a supply of replacements to cover the returns they were getting. I would have more to complain about but the manufacturer seems to be aware of it and are happy to replace, so I wasn't really put out. Put it down to experience.

Again, thanks for the help and the spare ego stamina! you kept me on the wagon last night!
