Yeah i think some of the prices are quiet stupid really mate.As ive looked at getting a paid server and you dont get much for a few quid a month.I guess it comes down to you get what you pay for.

I went here, the service has been excellent and they don't charge too much I'm paying £1.99 per month for unlimited bandwidth and storage.
They have been quite prompt with service issues too and are UK based !

Then you just buy a domain name from www.123-reg.co.uk/ which is quite cheap for .co.uk or .org.uk names. I have two domains I own and you pay for two years at a time for the types I mentioned.
Reminds me I must renew my .co.uk by august but I'm probably moving it over to supremehoster too so it might be cheaper to let it lapse then rebuy it since it will be cheaper than the fees to move it.

The software I'm using is completely new to me so it's going to take ages to get it spot on - but worth the effort since the software is very powerful and has everything I need all in one package rather than having to install lots of little bits to add the different functions of shop, money handling, blog, forum etc.

Glad you've found some good software that has everything all together I bet once you've mastered it you'll find it a doodle,

LOL, cor and I haven't even got round to changing the template for the pages yet - let alone figuring out the newsletter functions !

Moved it to the top right of page, it was right down at the bottom.

The RSS orange symbol only appears on the News and Blog sections which you reach by clicking their links on the left hand side.
That is just the front page you're looking at not the individual sections, the latest stuff ends up on the frontpage too but no link for updates.

Alas due to real world issues I have had to put on hold the shop.
Any mode will be sold in the Mod Shop here on friendly AAE-C, but in limited numbers for the foreseeable future.

I will still keep tinkering with the site and it will remain fully functional without the shop element for the moment so you can still look at the vids, read the blog and chat on the forum.
I have now added a messaging system to the site which runs independently of the other elements.
