If you scroll down to reviews someone is complaining very recently about queues to get seated. I am wondering whether it would be a good idea to book tables? If this has already been done ignore me. I am just thinking that if it is hot and sunny it is bound to be extremely busy on a Saturday lunchtime.

I can email them and ask it they would do that, though I,ve never seen all the seats full as theres quite a lot of seating outdoors, were not going to get all of us on one table though as there tables seat 4 people each,

how many members are going to be coming and I will ring them and ask

not sure if it would be better to meet at the spinning wheel in Paignton as I know the manager there and there's far more seating in one row (long bench tables) have a look at the link below and let me know what ya all think? but you will all have to ok this this quick as possible

cuz of the larger numbers coming now I think a bigger beer garden would be better as weathers looking really good for sat, I'll wait till tonight to make sure no one minds the change of venue to the spinning wheel @ Paignton seafront and then give the manager a ring to see if he will reserve seats for me

oh thinking bout it I think theres 2-3 steps to get in to the spinning wheel bar (no steps to the gardens though) is that going to be a problem? sure we could all help out and go to the bar for any members in chairs, will email pub see if they have a ramp

its ok, I've just rang the spinning wheel and you can get into the bar from the car park at the back of the pub and I've also booked tables in the garden for 15-20 people

Don't worry sealover. I can manage a couple of steps and if push comes to shove I can use my crutches. I did that for the Yorkshire meet.

How far is the spinning wheel from the original venue sealover1 ? Just realised that it may be further away from where dolly and I are staying. They haven't got their postcode on the website.

julie, train from torquay to paignton about 10 mins and 5 mins walk from paignton railway, all level to the seafront
