Blister type thingy in mouth,caused by vaping ????

Hi All.

Have been vaping now for around 8 months, but recently I have developed a blister type `thingy` on the inside of

my mouth.

This blister is on the side that I normally have the drip tip, and about half way up the inside of my left side cheek.

Could it be the `warm` vapour entering my mouth at the same spot, causing it.?????

Can`t stop vaping for a few days to see if `blister thingy` goes down and away.

It`s not painful in anyway, but I know it is now there.

i had one when smoking rollies. just inside my bottom lip. dentist was concerned and told me to keep an eye on it. stopped smoking and after 4 odd months, its gone.
i'd change position with drip tip if you can

Maybe change the drip tip you're using as well Jeff?

Stick some 0.16 nichrome in your mouth with so many wraps and continue to vape, wait for it to pop. problem solved.

I had 1 from using metal DripTips of unknown quality that came bundled with Nova's from China. Used corsadyl mouthwash and it cleared up pretty quickly. I binned all the suspect tips and now only use ones 'certified' to be stainless steel.

just to add, i bit through mine and it went away. not painful at all. might just be a mouth callus but keep an eye on it jeffc

I got mouth ulcers for the first year or so after stopping the nasties, just used salty warm water to rinse me mouth when they cropped up.

The other thing I got was a hard callouses just inside my lip, one on each side. These were not painful at all, just a bit weird at first. This was caused (I think) by using a top coil clearo and metal drip tips and using high power (5V and up) for many months, basically the skin in that area got thicker and tougher due to the heat. I moved on to rebuildables and the callous has completely gone now.

Something I know I neglect is drip tip hygiene. With cigs you smoked it and threw it away. A drip tip goes in and out of your mouth so many times I think you can 're-infect' your mouth if you have any ulcers or whatever. I'm gonna get my alcohol wipes out and give 'em all a clean.
