That's what I'd do Floop . . . the 1.8omh head will give you a much more satisfying vape. So sorry you were pressurized into buying something that you didn't necessarily want or need. i feel really stoopid!! are these 1.8 things standard size or will i have to buy one from that store to fit it? We've all been caught out at some point Floop, so don't beat yourself up about it. If you're certain that it is that clearo, then yes the replacement head will be a standard size.

If you're certain that it is that clearo, then yes the replacement head will be a standard size. Yes, however, I am a little concerned that TW are the only vendors of the very smallest clearo. Either way, I'd rather pay £7.99 for 3 heads (djs falls over) and use the thing, even if that's the moment to call it a day. b.t.w. Floop. D'you remember how I more or less forced you to visit AAEC after our messages elswhere? I offered to send you stuff if needs be. I'm sure I can find a 1.8 clearomiser somewhere in my box. (alright, boxes) of vape gear. I have stuff arriving most weeks and soon "swap over" clearos. I'm taking 2 to a chap tomorrow (well, leaving them for him) and should have something left. Dave. xx

1.8 Ohms. Atomisers/clearomisers/cartomisers/etc are commonly measured by the electrical resistance of their coils. if if you have a fixed voltage device (yours is), the lower the resistance in your atomiser, the more power is used to vaporise the liquid.

Dave. xx yes, i remember!! i was even on the wrong forum - think i was in birmingham, alabama instead of brum, midlands hehehe. hopeless i am (reaches for anther cookie to console oneself). i would be very very grateful mr djs if i could procure a 1.8 thing from you as i really don't want to give TW any more money.

I have always found it hard to explain resistance, but I'll give it a go... If you imagine your battery is a bucket and its full of liquid electricity. When you use the electricity it flows through a hole in the bottom. The smaller the hole is, the higher it resists losing the liquid... So a really tiny hole would perhaps be a 3.0 ohm resistance and it would use the electricity slowly, a bigger 1.8 Ohm hole would use it faster, If the hole is the size of the bottom of the bucket, it would be 0 resistance and use it all at once... The suggestion to lower your coil resistance from 2.4 to 1.8 would mean that it uses your battery faster, vaping the juice hotter and hopefully giving you greater throat hit.

Whilst waiting for your new coil, you could alter the way you vape. If you press the button then wait 1 second before you begin to draw on it, then draw very slowly on it for 4 seconds before releasing the button you should get a hotter vape. If you then inhale that drag quickly into your lungs it should sting a bit more...

i've added a few drops of menthol to the stuff already in a cartomiser and it seems a bit 'better'.

That's ok then Floop, just didn't want you to be spending more money on something that wasn't going to be the right ' bit '. Glad you've still kept your sense of humour.
