HELP!!!!!!!!!!
When I use a single premade wick coil on the Phoenix . I get a reading of 2.3 on the Vamo - no problems.
On any clearo, IClear 16,IClear30, Vivi Nova - no problem on the Vamo.
When I insert a dual coil wick, this is when my Vamo goes into a frenzy.
I check the ohms - its always 1.2 -1.4, but............. then the Vamo LCD screen blinks, and switches off.
Sometimes, i get the '02 Error' as well. (also 9.9 )- when i attach an EGO Twist... it vapes ok.
I have tried to put the wires through the contact posts, and also wrapped the wires around the screw heads, but i get the same result on the Vamo.
I have checked that the coils are not touching each other,
What is going on??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

mike weaver93 The resistance of the coils is too low for the Vamo. I get the same too. Some Vamo's are more "forgiving" my V1 works fine down to 1.2 ohm but my V2 will not go below 1.4 ohms.

My vamo is the same as Des. You should be looking for 3 ohm x 2 to get 1.5 ohm. I do get a dual coil phoenix on mine at 1.4. Don't give up, just have a play about

Cheers guys,
I just attached an IClear 16, didnt work! - heard a rattle, so i gently stretched the gold spring - no rattle, restarted - all ok now.
I assume I have the V2,as I've only had it a month from Zainy.
Is the 9.9 error, no atomizer found??
Does the ohmage go up, if there are less wraps on the coil??
Cheers
Mike

I'm 99% sure it's a V2 - V2's have metal buttons V1 rubber buttonsIs the 9.9 error, no atomizer found?? - Yes - or "open circuit"Does the ohmage go up, if there are less wraps on the coil?? No, DOWN - more wire for the current to run through, also the thinner the wire the higher the resistance, think of water running through a hoseCheers Mike

9.9 does mean that Mike.
As for the ohms, I think Its generally more means higher less means lower but there is so many variables as this Depends on the wire-spacing and the pin connector. Not 100% sure really but its what I read. I normally do 4 wraps. my attys that I am using today are 0 .16 nic for a 1.8 ohm poly nova. phoenix now has 5 wraps 0.2 kanthal single coil at 2.0 ohms and a 4 wrap kanthal metal tube nova is showing 1.6 ohms. I think it depends on the spacing of the wraps.
I am sure others will advise better than me. sorry for a non articulate reply but explaining coiling is not my forte.

At this rate, I'll have to order some more coils from VB, and the new Phoenix - lolol

Spot on stamina but the spacing shouldnt matter, it`s the length of the wire that is important, so another turn on each coil should hopefully sort it

I think it is a bit variable mike weaver93, but another turn on each coil should take the Vamo out of the "undecided" mode it seems to be in

I was like a golfer on the putting green in my reply. I needed a 10 foot putt for par but the putt had no legs and I made a bogey, much like my reply as it had no legs in it I forgot about the Length. Thanks Robby
