You just reminded me of my late mother Rom. Any books I got for Christmas were immediately taken away to be given brown paper wrappers and God help me if I made the slightest mark in one. I had the smartest Beano annuals of any kid I knew

I bet he buys Christmas wrapping paper in the post-Christmas sales, so all those pressies are already neatly wrapped and stored by size, colour and name of the receiver. Little secret i am gonna give away, i know i shouldn't judging by how much abuse my previous posts gets me but what the hell. I put my Christmas Tree up 6 weeks before the 25th, my sneaky move is when the relatives come around and see a tree with nothing underneath they tend to buy presents just for something to go under it so double whammy come Christmas As for wrapping the presents, well if they don't have all the same design then they don't go under the tree until they do, so when the relatives come around and give presents the first thing i do is un-wrap them and put the same paper as mine
