She must have been a tough old cookie. 86 is a fine age. Oh Rosie was a girl alright and she lived in Spain for 25 years after being diagnosed with COPD.. She only came home once a year for a month but decided to live back here when she got to 78 as she felt it time to come home.. God rest her soul The climate will have done her good.

My Day

Sorry to hear your unwelcome news Sammy. When I first started vaping at the beginning of February I also had the odd stinkie for the first couple of weeks then I just gave them up totally. On the odd occasion I get an urge I just pick up my Riva, take a few puffs and I'm fine. After 4 months now I know I'm not vaping as much as I used to smoke and the great thing is you can just have the odd puff instead of dragging through a whole stinkie. If you're down to a couple of stinkies a day already I'm sure it won't be long before you stop them altogether. Just don't buy any more and rely on your Vaping. Btw juice is in the post so hopefully there's one in there that you really like

Thanks Sue, I've only had one today, I have about 600 in the house though as I buy them for a month at a time, and I had just bought them in . Proof I must be crazy, and reason why I have not been able to buy too much vaping stuff just yet.

That makes total sense. I think knowing they are there helps in a way, if there wasn't any in the house I think I would panic.

Eww Sammy and Dinamic
Fortunately I only used to smoke rollies and bought baccy as needed so when I gave up I just bought one 12.5g packet which lasted a week. I used to go through 75 - 100g a week.
Sammy maybe you should leave them at home when you go away. Not sure I would have stopped so quick if I had that much lying around.
Dinamic good for you that you haven't been tempted.
Keep it up both of you - It's worth it.
I now have about 6 months worth of juice lol The last couple of months I have bought some juices that caught my eye and want to keep a good stock of flavours but have only spent £27 in April and £32 in May including buying a few clearos and new heads. I could never have afforded to accrue 6 months of baccy.
Good Luck with the Vaping

Also Sammy its because i only paid 40 euros a sleeve for them, (i bring enough back from hols twice a year to last me the full year) so if i was to get rid of them & suddenly needed some i'd have to pay double that amount to buy Regal at home. I just don't think about them so they don't bother me being there

I personally think your both really amazing having ciggs in the house and not smoking them.. I bought my cigalike and never bought another cigarette again. In fact I crumpled the last 8 in the pack and threw them in the bin and never looked back.. Keep up the vaping it's obviously worked for raw1211 he's having really good feedback from his doctor.. I'm certain you'll both kick the stinkies altogether really soon

I second that. I know that if I'd have just gone out and bought a cig a like without finding this forum it would be redundant most of the day. I would have cut down to maybe 12/15 but I just couldn't have done it. The support on here is fantastic, and the help is invaluable.

Excellent idea Dinamic But why not get her vaping too i think she will when she's ready to do it because to quit & stay quit you have to want to do it for yourself don't you, otherwise you wouldn't stick to it

Yes that is so true
At least she has someone who knows about vaping to help if she chooses to.
