What would be the best ohm setting for my Riva 1100's?
I have been playing about with my chobra tank, it came wound at 9ohms? So anyways, I just redone it with what wire was left and it now fires up, no hotspots and is at 1.5ohm is this to low? It spits and pops like a volcano when i add juice to the coil?

Yes a bit too low IMO on a Riva I'd not like to go below 1.8 ohms. Lower and you risk FUBAR'ing the battery or melting the wiring.

Bugger, good job it came with a little extra wire and a spare wick.. I'll try for 2 ohms or above later. Cheers Des

2.1 ohms, seems to take a little while to get going, but for my 1st repairable it seems okay, can't say I'm massively impressed compared to my standard CE4 clearo's.

Do the Riva's have protected circuits? I don't know because i don't own one, but 1.5 ohms should be fine on a regular battery i would of thought?
