I'm relatively new to using clearomisers and bought a couple of kits from Ebay - a Vision EGO kit with a 650 Mah EGO-T battery and a CE5 washable kit with a 900 Mah EGO CE5 battery. The vision gives the taste of something burning if liquid less then 0.9 ml in tank, while the CE5 is difficult to draw. Would I be any better to use my local supplier for e-juice (in local market) for replacement clearo's, or is it just a matter of luck whether the wicks work? For info : started vaping in November, 2012 and stopped smoking completely at end of May, 2013 after 40 years on a pipe. Enjoying vaping, but it cost me a fortune in e-cigs before switching to clearo's.

Hello & welcome Athol Ebay banned the sale of e-cigs about 4 years ago, so not a good idea to buy from anyone selling them on eBay as the seller could get banned at any time.

Hi Athol, just to add to what others have said, when i first started vaping i read on here never to let juice level go below 0.8 on your clearo, i know you have said 0.9 so perhaps you need to be topping up before you get to that level & +1 on Perpetua's reply

Well done in making the switch. Finally quitting the smokes is a great achievement.
As Chrissie says, e-cigs and related items are banned on ebay. However, there are lots of items listed as "e-shisha" or similar which slip through the net. I have had a few messages with them about this, not because I care either way, but I think the playing field should be level. Same on Amazon. They are selling eGos with clearos and getting away with it. Amazon don't care.
I have never had anything but trouble from cheap clearomisers. I think I've had 1,2,3 4 of them either bought by mistake or intentionally in the early days and they cost me wasted time, frustration and one killed a £14 battery. Some of the cheap stuff has just terrible quality control.
I would advise you to buy some clearomiser(s) on the internet from a good vendor. ALL my slightly more expensive clearos (Mini Novas, Vision V3s, Evods) are still working after months and months.

Athol, I used to always prefer the draw with cartomisers, than with clearomisers - until I got an Evod. To me the Evod is best of both worlds
