If it's 100% not the juice i would be inclined to say that the problem lies in the base/head when screwing in it's putting pressure on the center tube pushing it up causing the crack, so the possibilities arise again, is the head a hair thin too long or the rubber bung a hair thin too thick...Or even the plating maybe thicker.....it's endless possibilities Whatever the cause, would you say I'd be justified in getting the store credit from LF? I'm uncomfortable claiming it if I'm at fault, but I genuinely don't think I am (yet). It's a toughie! Deffo, and then it's down to them to contact their supplier to find out what is going on.

At the end of the day it's not your problem, none of the stuff comes with instructions so nobody can say you are doing something wrong, you are simply filling it up, it breaks, not your fault. Refund EDIT: It's not like your asking for juice to go all over yourself is it, or do you have a fetish

I've seen a similar thread to this, maybe on another forum and seem to remember that the cause was overtightening of the bases which caused stress cracking at the base of the tip.

I would go with either manufacturing fault or overtightening, myself, or a combination of both. Bit of a pain in the bum!!
