So far I have religiously stuck to my Nova, Mini Nova and clearos (plus the occasional toot on a DCT and my AGA-T at home), and have steered around the debate over the Evods but am now wondering if one will fit my Vamo V2 SS or will I need an adapter? If the answer to that is yes, I'll pass - can't be bothered with all the faff of adapters and the resulting naff look to the unit. However, if I can be assured that it will fit and there is sufficient airflow, I may just be tempted - after all, we do have to keep up with technology, don't we!! Andy

Vamo 2. No idea.. Is it 510 only....in which case, um, no - not without an adapter. Are you sure though (evod)? Less juice than a mini nova and far more fussy.... I've just been on tour and you know what I left at home?....yep, you guessed it, all my evods.

Some vamos have the ego threading. Mine does. If yours does then the evod will fit with no adaptor needed I will add i have no idea on the air flow. Do not own any evods to try. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

I don`t know what version my Vamo is, but it does have the eGo threading - BUT, the Evod (copy) only just fits and you can`t get it out without accidentally unscrewing the base at the same time - so I discovered when I tried. Trouble with CEx types as well, so it might as well be a plain 510 fitting for all the good it does.

Vamo V2 does need an adaptor for an Evod but it is worth it, excellent vape currently using Evods on my Black Chrome Vamo and Protank on my SS one. dave

Happily using Evod with Vamo 2 here...
The trick with the Evod not unscrewing from it's base is to make sure the base is screwed very tightly to the tank, and then screw the whole thing quite lightly to the Vamo.
I do always invert the whole thing before unscrewing the Evod tho'....

I found there wasn't enough airflow to get the evod to work on my vamo (v1?/v2? not sure) without an adapter. Works perfectly on an SVD though!

It was the Evod copy - which I presume must be a similar size, but even so I would have thought any eGo fitting device should have been OK, not much leeway and certain others wouldn`t fire up. I only try things once and give them away immediately if they`re rubbish or don`t suit me, so I`m not worried about it

My V2 certainly has eGo threading, as I have a CE4 in at the moment! Interesting that djs rates the Novae (posh plural!) above the Evods - not been persuaded yet, especially as I can now knock out a new coil for my Nova in about 5 minutes, and I only started recoiling about 3 weeks ago! Please keep the opinions coming, I'm always interested to know what you all think! Andy

Original Evods don't like my Vamo V2 Andy . . . they screw on, but no airflow. So only work with an adapter as Santa and Dave have said.

my vamo v2 (dark coloured screen) has an ego thread and the evod works fine on it.
