So now having been happily Vaping for 10 days I'm onto some exercise programme...LOL
Currently weight is 78kg - 12 stone 4Lbs (think that's about 171lbs or 172 - can't recall)
Following the couch to 5 k program which means running 3x a week (Sat's, Mons and thurs)....
Got to get this weight off...
Next stage is online diet..
Was 60kg approx 9.5 stone a year ago...this weight has to go
Only now very sore and have no sports scaffolding (sos trip to M+S tomorrow or Tuesday)....
So yeah any thoughts/views...not been jogging for over a year..
Jo

Johanino, 1 stone = 14 lbs. I'm all for exercise, I walk two miles several times a week. I used to walk 3 to 4 miles, but I got lazy, I would like to get back up to 3 miles again. I never was one for jogging, even in my younger days. I always preferred walking.
Go for it and good luck.

Yeah exercise is good for depression, it's getting motivated though!
I got my bike fixed up so the plan is to start using that everyday...can't be jogging, I have weak ankles..well that's what I tell the kids when they wanna race !

I can't jog as have a dodgy right knee but I miss jogging. I do my wii fit workouts now instead with my knee strapped up.

Cycling is the best exercise I know (providing you don't get hung up in a tree by the elbow as billy muggins here did last October). I bought myself a new mountain bike a year ago and apart from three months off with ripped arm muscles, I've cycled every day since - reasonable weather permitting. I wasn't particularly overweight but I've lost 7lbs and feel a whole lot better than I did being a couch potato. Fox
