Apple juice tastes a bit odd now...

I have being vaping a little over a week now but my favorite for now,apple juice,has a very slight dryish plasticy aftertaste.

The clearo has been cleaned and dry burned but still the taste.
I just wonder is my head/wick on its way out or maybe its my taste coming back or what?

I have been reading about menthol...perhaps its time for some of that.

Probably a combination of both Inteli . . . try a new head and see if it makes a difference, menthol is quite nice combined with Apple so you could also give that a try if you get some.

If you are vaping fairly heavily, then yes, your clearo head will most likely need changing by now.

I am disapointed the head is almost done from only 8 full days of vaping but I really love the idea of menthol in the apple.
Do I just put a drop of menthol juice into the clearo with the apple in it?

8 days is pretty good going though Intelli if it's been used exclusively . . . in 8 days I would have spent over £100 in cigs at todays prices, that's how I look at things.


If you've an empty bottle then you can mix a little Menthol and some Apple in it and then use that to fill your clearo. Failing that, fill your clearo directly . . . I'd go for 2/3rds Apple & 1/3rd Menthol as it can be quite overpowering.

OK,I see now why the pros have one for "out and about" and a cool vv tank thing made of titanium or something for at home.
I really like the ce4 for its small size so I will stock up on heads...am going to the shop on friday anyway to get me a couple of evods...musnt forget the menthol and loads more apple.

CE4s are not rebuildable, if that's what you have. The heads on a BCC (evod) should last longer than the heads on a top coil (CE4 or 5).

As for titanium...I can only offer chrome with fake gold plating....either that or an eVic.

The wife has a spare ce5 with juice in it,not much used.
I will nick it when she is out and give her the stinky almost burned out one...i am sure she wouldnt mind..maybe.

......and gold plate over chrome is cool but never on a guitar imho.

No, you just can't chain vape on them, and I had some pretty heavy tobacco flavours in those days.

Me too! But as well nowadays I tend to change my Evod and even protank heads after 2-3 days any way, the way I look at it is why bother with one that's even 20% below par when a fresh one tastes great? intelicide have you thought about getting some wick and wire when you go the shop next? It'll save you loads and you can change heads with abandon !

Haha poochops (love that handle BTW!) I was going to say the same thing. I recoil my heads the moment they stop performing - it costs about 5p to recoil with wick and wire, and I've always got fresh crackling heads - bargain!

I have wound coils for radios before so why not.
I suppose it works out cheaper in the long run and for me the flavour side of this is a big part of why i do it,so if it means better taste for longer,ill give it a go.......so much to do just to get set up.
