Can I suggest as one possibility, the e-cig I started out with which I still use and love - the SD Keyring. It's small, reliable and uses pre-filled cartomisers which can be bought in 20's for £19.99 plus p&p. I used them before I became confident enough to use the ego e-cigs with juices. www.cavecom.com/screwdriverSD/shopSD/shopindex.shtml

Well, I like the look of the ones you linked to but am a bit daunted by the technicalities - if I were to get one of those, is it super fiddly to fill it up? How often do you have to fill it? And how often do you clean it out? I am thinking back to my student days when we used to do something *similar* to vaping (ahem!) and the mess was a nightmare! I answered those questions 1 post previous & Chrissie posted a video on filling the clearo 2 posts back It's really easy & really quick. Cleaning is nothing like your student contraption - quick wash, quick dry, refill, &........ vape!

Hi! I think with a simple set-up (blister pack + juice) you can probably knock those 5 rollies on the head quite easily and spend next to nothing. I smoked 15 roll-ups and now use about £1.00-£1.50 of liquid a day.

Hooray it's arrived, how exciting! Got 3 different flavours of juice and they have thrown in a freebie too by the looks! Now to search this forum for a guide to what to do...

missbunbury de-package the clearo, check that the base is screwed in if the clearo is designed to be rebuildable, and then carefully unscrew the top (the mouthpiece). Take the top off your juice bottle, tilt the clearo to about 45 degrees, and carefully and SLOWLY squeeze the juice into the clearo, making sure you don't get any down the small centre tube, otherwise you'll end up with an unpleasant mouthful of juice. Fill to the top fill line which should be marked on the clearo (usually 1.6ml), and then screw the mouthpiece back on making sure that the little white silicone ring is in place to effect a good seal. Let the juice soak into the wicks for 5 minutes, and then screw fingertight onto the battery which should have enough charge to get you going. Make sure the battery is switched on (5 quick clicks will switch on and off), press the button before vaping, and draw slowly without sucking too hard. The first few puffs may be a bit weak as the wicks take up the juice, then you should be off. When the clearo gets to about .5ml, refill it so that the wicks are always soaked in juice. You may need to learn the 'clearo tilt' where you swish the juice over the wicks before vaping to make sure you don't get something called a dry hit, where the wick burns but has not got sufficient juice on it. That should get you started - come back and ask if/when the vape tails off, that will be time for Episode 2 - Wash and Dry Burn!

missbunbury l was in the same situation as to the techniques etc as you and l bought a Riva 1100 it came with 2 batteries which is essential to have, as to being fiddly it takes less time that to make a cuppa so answer is no its not, all you do is buy kit and choose a juice you like the sound of ( l would buy a couple) just in case you don't like one and then you fill the clearomiser the thing chrissy is showing you in the video and then you screw it onto the batt and away you go it really is that simple and as you use it you will discover you don't like the smell of ciggys or the taste trust me l smoked for 42 years and gave up never until these came along so good luck and keep asking and droping us a line to share your success with us all
