Vapefest 2013 My Experience!!

I did not attend but it sounded a great event,i can't believe someone had the audacity to steal from a vendor or anyone else come to that.Do you know what was stolen,it might pop up on e-bay.A long shot but you never know.

My best experiences during Vapefest, was meeting our forum members, putting a face to just a name.
I met so many but @blowndolly chrisjw Bluefish @spikey_fridge @mp2012 djs @pam o , @disco des just a few who`s names I can remember. Great honest too goodness persons, whom I genuinely class as "friends".
Fantastic day, will certainly now make the effort to attend our `local` meets whenever possible.
Special thanks to chrisjw for arranging us the AAEC badge format, which was admired by many other vapers.
Thanks especially to the organisers of the event, "WELL DONE"

I don't do crowds and vapefest was just as crowded last year but in a smaller room

Not for me but glad it went well...yeah free event - crammed packed..thieves are a part of modern life the politicians want us to think don't exist

And I've have spent too much LOL

Glad it went well though and more vapers is only a good thing

Shame about the disabled access....again something else worth improving....

and a chill out room perhaps?

If you are moving to a bigger venue is there any chance of moving to close to one of the major airports ?

That is a very valid point.... there were a few international visitors (and Vendors) this year....

Something worth considering by next years Organisation committee (along with the bigger venue, car parking, disabled access, more vendor stalls [they all went in March], etc, made elsewhere on the board/net!).

Ahhh yes I meant to reply about you being here next Monday. It's a no go Hun. It's the Notting Hill Carnival. Will be a nightmare in London traffic wise. Plus I ain't too well right now. Not sure what the doc will say tomorrow. My legs have swollen up like a balloon and I can't stand up now!!

I am sure all of us would love to see you both at one of our LSE meets. I think Alan said the next one will be 21st September, but not 100% verified.

Thats ok dolly the times are all off. Dam gigs lol. I have our somerset meet on the 22nd so wont make the 21st. Hopefully be able to get up for the one after. Will keep my eyes peeled on the lse meet thread.
Hope all goes well with the docs dolly. Get puffingbilly to wait on you hand and foot.

This time last week, I was cruising down the M1, reflecting on a most enjoyable weekend at my 1st Vapefest.............

Well I enjoyed vapefest.....and for me the kopperberg ciders were actually cheaper thanks to the token system :-) just queing for tokens was an added pain as last year you paid at the bar.
There was easily more than double the attendance over last year hence the over crowding but there was no way the organisers could know what the attendance would be unless they sell tickets before hand but a last minuet dash by vapers to buy tickets could compromise any venue pre booked unless ticket numbers are limited.
The disabled parking issue really is an issue of the moat house and not the vapefest organisers.
As far as I can tell this is organised by vapers and not event organisers so every year they learn and improve.
Top job by top people and I'm very grateful for them putting the effort in to make it happen.
Oh and just remember this Wayne was not going to do it vttv said they would do it and make it bigger and better and then pulled out
as a community were lucky to have someone like Wayne who said f**k it lets make this happen
