Hello I'm new¬!

Hello, I'm Sal and new to the forum. I quit smoking (after 30 odd years!) in January and started vaping. I started off with the CE4/ego battery system and haven't really moved on much since then, except for getting a Protank which I really like. I am hoping to get some good advice on getting a better battery system and look forward to meeting you all and learning loads!

Welcome to the forums sal. If you are looking to upgrade I'm sure you can find plenty of help finding a vape kit that suits your needs.

It might help us give you better advice if you gave us a rough idea of what you are wanting to upgrade to/why you want to upgrade. E.g. Your current battery doesn't last long enough, you want more vapor, you just want some kickass new shinies etc =)

Oh wow, fantastic welcomes, thank you so much everyone!

I think I may already have shinyitis lol. I spend hours browsing through all the various shops online looking at all the different types of batteries etc there are, I think to myself 'that's exactly what I want' then I go to another site and it's back to square one!

I don't have a massive budget, I don't want to spend more than £50 and less if possible. I'd like a battery that lasts a bit longer, I have a variety of ego batteries 650/900/1100 - just the standard ones. The last few I've bought have been a bit rubbish and I feel like I am wasting money on these cheaper batteries when something a little more expensive might save money in the long run? More vapour would be fab too!!

Any and all suggestions will be very gratefully received!

If it was just me recommending, I'd say definitely have a look at the mini protank.

It's an odd deal. The mini and the extra heads + charger are worth £19.99 to me so it's like getting a free 650 battery.
However, the voltage on the evod battery is 3.7v (apparently) so 2.5ohm heads are a bit pathetic for anyone looking for lots of vapour.

However, you might find it plenty, as your current batteries may be 3.3v. However, if you get either a Spinner or a big 18650 "mod" 2.5 is about the right resistance.

The mini is absolutely superb....really....I think it beats the Protank I, but I'm not getting a Protank II.

I did a whole day (on Wednesday?) with a 1300mAh Spinner and the mini Protank with 1.5ml of juice. Simple, but effective set up.

markm - thank you, I have been looking at the spinners and twists but wasn't sure if they would last any better than the standard batteries which I mainly why I haven't bought one! I like the look of the Vamo and also the smoktech SiD - would the Vamo give me better value in the long run do you think?
