Hi all
I am ordering from Liberty Flights ( well I was a minute ago ) but they haven't got the 1.8ohm atties again this week. Have I got to have 1.8ohm for my evods? They have got 1.5 , 2.2 , and 2.5. I haven't got a clue what to do. Thanks in advance for any help.

ohms really are personal preference. I like the 2.2 ohm ones best.
There are loads of places that sell 1.8 heads, the 2 cheap places I know are both out of stock (just checked).
why not try a 2.2 ohm one and see how you like it?

If you are running on a variable voltage device then you can adjust that to compensate for a different resistance coil. If the resistance is higher then you need to up the volts for a similar effect, and lower volts with lower ohms resistance. Even better, if you can to use a variable wattage device and it will work it all out for you - they read the resistance and adjust the volts automatically.

I have 2 x 1300 spinner batteries and 4 x ego 900.

The 2.2 for me gives a smoother vape. The 1.8 is a little harsh for me, and on a fully charged standard ego battery tends to burn some of my flavours. With my spinner, it doesn't really matter as I can adjust the volts. I am not a big throat hit fan, but I do like a warm vape. Different liquids atomise differently, and different people like different things ... so it is difficult to advise someone else on ohms

When you first got your evod it would've been factory fitted with a head of about 2.2 ohms. Was there a difference when/why you changed to 1.8's? The 1.8's will burn hotter than the 2.4's, thus giving you more vape (if you're using a standard ego battery). You'll probably find you need more draw to get the same vape. hope this helps Edit...our typing must've crossed over lol. I've just re-read and see you have VV batt's - turn the volts up a bit with your 2.4's, it'll vape similarly.

You can buy evods that come with all sorts of different ohm heads, depending on where you bought it from. If you got it from LF then it almost certainly came with a 1.8 head

And whilst on there, I have just ordered two more evods to make my total 8 LOL

Thank you I can't pretend I understand it all. But hopefully I will do one day It's all about how hot the coil gets that's vapourising the e-liquid. Thats is how I've understood it so far anyway.Your 1.8ohm atomizer heads, on a standard non vv eGo battery, will generate an output of around 7.6watts. A 2.4ohm atomizer head on a standard non vv eGo battery would generate an output of around 5.7watts, so your e-liquid wouldn't taste quite the same. So, to get the same taste from a 2.4ohm atomizer head, you would need around 4.3volts on a vv battery to get the coil to the same temperature as the 1.8ohm atomizer head@3.7volts. Hope that makes sense.
