Received with thanks Clockworks and Christophe.
Very easy to use, (no unscrewing 8 or 9 separate bits), works very well (which is always a bonus!), no leaking, nice middle of the road draw, good flavour and vapour and looks very nice sitting on top of my Provari. (and relatively cheap to buy too!)
Cheers guys, very nice device.
One thing i've discovered, (not a negative but more of an obvious observation) is to keep it topped up (can put about 15 drops or 3/4 of a ml) or else i can detect a slight (very slight) rubber taste begin to creep in to the vapour. It's probably where the coil is starting to heat the white rubber centre seal a little bit, not burning it mind you - but just heating it enough to release a little taste into the vapour. Keep it topped up and this doesn't happen.
Like the look of the carto tank too Clockworks, dinky little end caps make it look nice and refined (and reduce weight a little) just about to try it out, but need a little instruction first if i may.
The cap with the ridge cut into it is i assume the top cap?
The top of the (mouthpiece end) carto tube sits against this ridge yes?
Do i disassemble the tank or just push the carto up through the non-ridged cap (bottom cap?) and approx how far up the carto's SS tube do i punch the small hole? I'm guessing about 10-15mm up, but want to check with you first.
Very impressed, thanks a lot.:good:
Andy.

Posted this on UKV, but added here for those that don't visit there:
I think the taste you get as the juice runs low is coming from the wick, Andy. I'm using wick from Bulli, and others have reported a similar taste in different devices when using this wick. Hopefully the wick that Tim (rawveg) has found will solve this minor irritation. I've got used to it, and see it as a warning to top up, rather than getting the full-blown burnt taste of a dry vape. The white plastic part is the cap from a carto. It's silicone, and shouldn't give off any taste unless it actually melts.
Remove the black sticker and the glue from the carto. Drill the hole as low as possible - 10mm will be fine. Any lower and you drill through the base fitting of the carto. I use a 1.1mm carbide drill bit, and centre-punch the tube first, to stop the drill wandering. Remove the bottom cap (the one without the step) and push the top of the carto into the bottom of the cap. Stand the carto upright on a table, and slide the cap down until it just touches the ridge of the carto fitting. You should be able to do this using just your thumbs on the cap, and your fingers hooked under the tabletop.
Fit the tube to the bottom cap (a smear of juice inside the tube helps here), make sure that the carto is central in the tube, and that the white cap is in place, then fit the top cap.
If you are using a new carto, it's worth filling it from the top before filling the tank and fitting the top cap.

Great stuff Steve, all done.
Working very nicely, thanks for your help mate.
I'm all set now, have my lovely rebuildable attie, my clearo and carto tanks, no leaks anywhere.
Nice job Steve.

Good to hear that it's all working for you.

It's still in development, but it's looking promising. It all works, but I need to make it more user friendly, and buildable at a reasonable price. Could take a while.......

If I tell you what it is, and it doesn't pan out, you'll all be disappointed.

There's a name for people like you you know! Is 'pan' a clue? I've got it..a mini frying pan heated over a coil? Frying tonight!

I so pray its a similar concept to the i-atty that doesnt leak.Made so you can still make the coils the same etc but just totally leak proof?

Would you settle for one that didn't leak as long as you didn't turn it upside down?

YES,most definately.I would love to be able to make the coils the same with the resistance and no resistance wires but just lose the leaks completely.I loved the i-atty and the way it vaped,if i could get the same sort of thing without leaking from the connection then i would be a very happy bunny, lol.
