I'm assuming it's roughly the same size as an Evic if the tubes are interchangeable - if so, don't sweat the size. You get used to it surprisingly quickly and then all your Spinners you loved so much start to feel all flimsy! Not sure I'd take it out and about, but it does make a helluva difference It's actually 10mm longer jen, but slightly lighter in weight. That's 'roughly' ain't it? I quite fancy the purple one myself...can't justify buying another mod though!

Hang on a bit all.............The E-Vic tubes were working at Vapefest, but I've just put one on the SID & nothing. It appears that the plastic ring in the E-Vic tube part is preventing a connection to the battery, as the tube supplied with the SID doesn't have one........Will report back on further investigation..........sod the decorating, this is far more important.....

OK.........I was right......The SID will work with the E-Vic tubes, providing the plastic ring is removed.... I can't see that this will cause any problems, but maybe someone can verify that....If someone has both the E-Vic & SID, I'd be interested to know whether they are experiencing the same problem

Think I've opened up a can of worms here.....The SID isn't working right at all now......It appears to be the old "Button pushed down" syndrome.....I'm getting "Low load" & 9.9 readings on all my atty's...........Have you experienced this with yours perps?

Think rather than hijack this thread, I'll start a separate one regarding the E-Vic/SID problem.....

I don't really care about swapping bits about, I like the sound of the E-vic but I don't like how it looks, so end of story I guess having a 18350 tube would be good, as we have tons of batteries that size, but I kinda want to get the 16850 batteries because they last longer Would sourcing tubes in the same purple be possible? (like I said, never gone down this route before) I can't justify buying anything else either Jen I have enough gear to last me well into next year already ... but ... purple .... I want something that a: works b: has replaceable batteries c: looks and feels right ... and I think for me "c" is the most important (so I'm a woman, get over it!)

I did notice at VF, that they had different colours, but not sure about the purple. Might be an idea to contact the vendor & ask.
