Hiya cas, Welcome to AAEC and hope you enjoy your new adventure into Vaping. i have noticed that an awful lot of folks first starting off tend to look at complete kits. You can get the seperate parts you need just as cheaply. (Honestly. It's a case of I wish I knew then what I know now. ) after all you need is a battery ( 2 would be better, one on charge ane in use) Something to attach to it ( Clarimisor) Charger for your battery. have had a look for you and think you could put a basic kit together for about £17.90 excluding juice paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/electronic-cigarette-c-2.html2 X 650mha ego batts, 1 X Evod clarimisor, 1X usb batt charger Hope this helps

Hi Cas & the evod kit is a great starter kit as the evod clearo's (juice tank) is what you will probably use long term anyway, theres not many that stick with the ce4 type clearo thats comes with the paradise vape blister pack but the blister pack is good as a spare as it has a usb charger too & everyone will tell you that you need back ups for back ups. Joosejuice that perpetua linked you to is good for your liquids as at £1-49 for 10ml does not break the bank so gives you chance to try a few without spending lots of money. Anything else you need to know just ask someone will always help you here & good luck.

The Evod kit people have linked to is a good kit, but personally I would want a battery with higher mAh so it lasts longer. I would still recommend the Riva kit from Vapeescape as it gives you everything you need to start you off except juice. www.vapeescape.co.uk/Deluxe-Vaping-Kits/VE-Riva-1100-Deluxe-Kit/Vape-Escape-Riva-1100-Deluxe-Kit.htmlThe batteries should last you a full days vaping, it comes with clearomisers and cartomisers and a charger. There is also a 10% discount code allabout for AAEC members. You can also buy juice samples from Vapeescape. Welcome to the forum

Hi Cas and welcome, I'd like to recommend Joosejuice for great prices on samples (£1.49 for 10ml) and they are really lovely, it'll take a while and lots of tasting to find out what you like and at that price it's not the end of the world if you don't like one

Thanks for the advice, i will take a look at all the links tonight when i finish work..
I currently smoke roughly about 10 roleys a day.. with extra slim filter tips. a 12.5g pouch will usually last me+partner 2-3 days.
A proper cig makes me feel a bit sick now that im used to roleys... and a super king definitely does lol
I will probably buy a couple of extra batteries etc.. after a few weeks, i get what your saying about backups

Welcome Cas. I'm sure the guys and girls have sorted you out. I myself have a nice evod/mini protank (from myepack) waiting at the post office to collect (been away....but got the royal mail card).... mini protank is awesome - the top dog out there a.t.m. I doubt I shall use the battery much...for "powering" my vaping, I use an eVic. I used two batteries the entire week this week.....and the second one is still on 70%. two eVic batteries = about 40 skycig batteries.

Hi Cas and welcome.. I was going to suggest paradise vape too... ego starter kit £7 each would get 2 of them so you have a spare battery , spare everything really. plus the jucie of your choice. that's how I started.. I found that the tobacco flavour juice is abit like unlite cigarettes keep that in mind, they are ok. I found a lot of juices not to be sweet, I do have abit of a sweet tooth. but even the chocolate wasn't really sweet. I found afew to be very drying and when vaped all day . I needed something sweeter.. try afew juices in the 5ml bottles till you find one you like... I vape 50/50 vg/pg. and 18mg nicotine. you may want to go for a lower nic to see how you get on...( if you get a headache it's too high). hope this helps

Do you have a link for the eVic batteries? i'm confused about what makes up an e-cigarette.. Battery+Clearomiser? i'm persuming the clearomiser is what you fill up with juice? Do some clearomisers come so you can change the 'atom'? Better long term? i presume a 'tank' is like a reservoir so you can hold more juice? is it just a big Clearomiser? where does a 'cart' come in to play? or are they just disposable clearomisers? I could do with a good guide tbh lol also is it a better option to buy parts separately rather than buying a kit?

I could do with a good guide tbh lol also is it a better option to buy parts separately rather than buying a kit? We are actually in the process of doing up a little guide. Ok first the evic, it is a mod, a lot larger than the normal ego style batteries and you have batteries that you put in and then take out to recharge where as the ego style are built in if that makes sense. Anyway here is the evic www.joyetech.co.uk/evic would be around the £70 mark plus a charger and batteries. Ok so a ecig is a battery, they come in various sizes, the higher the mah rating the longer it will last between charges but the bigger it will be. Like this. and then something on top, clearomiser, cartomiser, tank, dripper. Yes the clearomiser is the part you fill up like this. Yes some clearomisers, in fact nearly all the new ones come as re buildable meaning instead of throwing the whole thing away and replacing you can take it apart and change just the head (the part with the wick and coil) like this and yes it is cheaper in the long run as you can just buy the heads at £2 ish instead of a whole clearomiser at £5 ish. Yes a tank is usually a bigger version of a clearomiser like this www.ukecigcabin.com/product/vision-stv-nova. A cartomiser is a small metal tube with some wadding inside (like the inside of a zippo) and a coil that you fill up and then vape, these are throw away so once taste and vapour diminish you just replace the whole thing. These dont leak but dont hold as much liquid and to some people not as good a vape as a clearomiser but then some people prefer them. Here is a cartomiser you then put a drip tip on it and screw on to your battery and vape like this. but you can also put these into a tank like this That is the basics of your questions, hope it helped. You could buy the parts separately but the kits are a great price and you get everything you need in one package.
