Hello all! Thought I'd try an anyvape davide bought here: Arrived today, filled it and left it to settle, came back and it had leaked all into my vamo turns out it was the original head that came with it, swapped it for another one and that has stopped the leakage. Now I've started to use it, it is fine for a few puffs but then tastes burnt, any ideas as to what can be causing this? The heads are 2ohms and I'm running it at 7watts but even if I turn it right down on Volts or watts it still tastes burnt, the heads are the same as the pro tank by the looks of it. It's turning out to be quite frustrating! Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance!

Ah funny we had the exact same problem with the head that was in it and that was fr9m ukecigstore at vapefest. Same as you put another head in and all was good. One thing we did noyice is because you fill it between those wholes you can sometimes get an airbubble there whem you turn it the right way up. Not had any problems with burnt taste though. Ours have been spot on.

I got a mini from pink mule, the first time I filled it, it had an air bubble and so all I got was burnt wick , but since it settled, then I haven't had the slightest problem with it. I guess you can always get dud heads for all attys, and I would guess that's what you have on your hands

When I put a new head in these or in a Protank I let it sit in the juice for 5 minutes then without pressing the button take a few pics to prime the wick and all of mine work fine after.

On some of the heads you can get a burnt rubber taste which i believe is the coil burning the little rubber tube for the first time (It's the rubber part that the coil feeds through at the bottom of the head), you will see the burn marks if you take it out and have a look. Once the coil has finished with it's burning frenzy the burning rubber taste fades away. Piccy: This can apply to evod/protank/anyvape heads as they all pretty much are the same design.

Cheers rom I've had a look and can't see any burnt rubber, it's not a really bad burnt taste it's a mix of the flavor of the juice and a mild burnt taste, I might try and stick with it and put a tank of juice through it and see if it settles

Are you getting any air bubbles when you fill it Arrow as Ros said . . . that could be contributing towards a burnt taste if you are.
It might also be worth putting the heads you've so far tried into a bicarbonate of soda/denture tablet bath overnight, then giving them a good rinse and leaving to dry. I've done that with all the Fasttech heads I've had and haven't had any taste problems with them at all.

Don't they suggest giving it all a good soak & clean before using?
