Hi on the order page does anyone know what ETA 8/26/2012 (in 2 days) Means does this mean it has been dispatched or fasttech will have the item in 2 days? Sorry this was my first order with fasttech. Also how long do they normally take to respond to emails?
Thanks

I guess firstly you mean 2013? I think you'll find that's the ETA of dispatch. If you click on the order on the FT site, it will tell you it's status ie packing, shipped, etc. If it doesn't say it's been dispatched, it won't have been.

Sorry yeah 2013 dont know why I put 12. The order still says order received. It also says under the items a status but the SVD I ordered says scheduled to be shipped 3 of september. So abit longer than the others. Do they normally send in seperate packages or just one big package?

Think it depends - I've never had one split, but I always try to keep my orderes over $15 but under £15 (tracked shipping with no customs hassle). Others, I believe, have had orders split.
Put a ticket in, asking them to ship the stuff that's ready, and send the other stuff when it arrives?

Fastech will hold dispatch of the whole order until all items are available for dispatch by default. As Fred says, raise a ticket and ask them to dispatch what is available within 2 days separately. PS: I always split my order into several small orders, say one or two items each in case it gets delayed / lost in the post

Hi thanks I was greedy and got both the vamo and svd. I did just notice heaven gifts have the innokin 134 for £111 not sure how much postage is though. I know it's a beast but I like the look of it but no more shiny's for me for a while. If it was cheaper I may have thought about it

ETA is estimated time of arrival. It when they expect the item to be with them from suppliers. Most people as others have mentioned split their orders when above about £15. £15 I think gives you free upgrade to registered post - have not checked for a couple of months. Fasttech often split the orders anyway automatically especially if something is going to be delayed a while.
As to custom charges you are best to keep the orders small, although they do put on a low value so you should not be charged, customs are more likely to check a package or open it if it is heavy or bulky with a low value. Another issue is if all your orders come through customs all at once they may notice multiple orders and are at liberty to group all the values together making you liable to custom charges for VAT etc. So spread your orders out if large so they do not all go through customs at the same time.

Are they normally really slow at responding to emails?

I have only written to them once using the form on their site and they responded within 24 hours. I have heard, so not sure how true this is, that if you respond before they do your mail is placed at the bottom of the pile again so best just to wait, I think.
