The top part of my E-Vic head (the connector & wiring part) decided to part company with the rest of the head today.....It hasn't broken the wiring connection or anything & I've just pushed it back on, but should I superglue it or is it OK as it is?......has anyone else had this?

Chrisjw!
I've read about so many people having this issue with the v1 head.
It's been happening so frequently that thet made a v2 head that has a few screws in the dripwell to hold the thing together.
You can either glue it back together or exchange it under warranty? I had mine returned after the threading of the connector went bad and with a small letter exlaining what happened and a few links to posts where otherd had the same issues I reciewed a new evic head free of charge

testdruif.................Thanks for that. Unfortunately, I bought it on the classifieds, so don't have any warranty. I'll whack a bit of superglue on it.

Most people seem to superglue them back on chrisjw. However I would advise trying some blue thread-lock between metal to metal joints first as it's easier to disassemble for repairs should the need arise. Bear in mind that water and alcohol both soften superglue but won't affect cured thread lock. However thread lock can cause stress cracking in some thermoplastics, so keep it away from the screen. I have used thread lock successfully on a number of similar repairs although not yet tried it on an eVic.
