It may just be flooding a little, can you throw a small bit of 1mm silica on top like a flavour wick but really something to stop the flooding?

Haven't got a Davide, but in my Protank if the liquid gets too low it will gurgle, if its not this, then a good blow through the drip tip with a bit of tissue at the bottom will usually rectify any gurgling if and when it happens. also clean the connection to the battery/mod you are using with a bit of tissue.

Yeah guys...did all that. Thought it was the heat (24 -25c in lounge) and now at 4am (should I be up at this time? ) it's 23.6c in lounge and no flooding. Vamo saying it's shorting but doesn't taste like it is. Do I trust the vamo or do I just ignore it? (vamo keeps saying 9.9ohms yet no heat in battery and vaping and tasting fine )

I'm just sorry I can't help @johanino.
The gurgle of BCCs is most annoying. Mini Protanks so far seem far less susceptible.
If I get a bad attack (probably in an evod), I suck out the juice with a syringe, rinse the whole thing out, shake the bottom section (I try not to rinse silica that is nicely soaked with e-liquid) fill it up from the syringe then top it up with fresh liquid. 9/10 it's then fixed.

I keep finding silica wick so I'm doing about 2 threads (it seems very thin) with 5 wraps of wire on a normal mechanical mod. working fine. Thanks for your help@djsvapour. Sure the flooding issue was just the heat. Weird to have it all fixed now LOL
