Have had exact same problem as described..not going to top of next page. This only started when I added adblock extension in Google Chrome. Have disabled adblock and now the next page scrolls to the top...back to normal again.

Chrissie Hi sorry to be a pain, but I cannot get rid of the white notification shield showing bookmarks number.

Mine is showing 3 in shield (bubble) although I have deleted all my bookmarks.

Have can I get rid of this 3 number ???

Jeff it's a known Proboard glitch (they keep saying they are working on it). Try resetting your notifications -

Click on your profile.
Click "edit Profile"
Click "Notifications"
Untick "when a bookmark is updated"
Then click on "save notification settings"

Then go back, re tick it & save again

Try left clicking on the number itself Jeff........it worked before with the message glitch.

chrisjw is right, clicking on the actual white bubble with the number in can also sometimes clear it

Just a follow up about being taken to the bottom of the next page rather than the top.It is as I suspected due to folks using an ad blocker. Quote form a Proboards Support admin -

The reason behind this is that when users have adblock enabled, the ad (or rather our message asking people to please not use adblock) is the anchor for the page to return to the top. If the ad never loads, then there is no reference point for where the "top" of the page is. We simply changed some things to ignore this. If the user still experiences issues, please have them disable adblock for your forum. (It's also a TOS violation just FYI!)
