Just placed order for 200ml of the PG nic base 72mg at £27 with free postage. I was a bit concerned when, having pressed the final payment via Paypal button, it came back with "server error - contact your merchant". I then checked "my orders" in the account section and the order seemed to have been accepted ok so I then checked my Paypal account and the payment was completed so everything seems to gone ok despite the server error message.

 now have 600 ml headed my way in 3 different orders - oops lol 
note to self do not indulge in late afternoon beers before ordering stuff on line

Believe me Richie, at this price if I had the funds at the minute I would have done the same as you deliberately

Does anyone think that the "problems" that have been encountered by many at the checkout stage is a ploy to get you to place the order again and again as per richieh thinking that the order has not gone through the first / second time?

I really dont think so as my impression is the company is trying hard to give good service (as per some experiences in this thread that were quickly dealt with and the good communication on order status.)

I do think however the site is atrociously set up (now im a lazy typer and if i make a spelling mistake in a forum post i normally just let it go) but i really dont expect to see spelling mistakes on a vendors website as per this company, and of course checkout and general layout of the site is very poor.

Also the £13.50 price was raised to 22.50 yesterday morning/late tuesday night, but then reduced again to the 13.50 suggesting they are nt too happy with the pricing so probably hoping to slip the price up again soon .

In summary:i think a well intended vendor that really should invest in a decent website and checkout procedures.

I had a checkout problem when first trying to place my order. Checking back though the messages swapped when trying to enter my postcode Russ said the problem at the time was the system would only accept a 6 digit postcode, He then messaged me he'd entered a postcode on my account, though only 6 of the digits which would allow me to enter the site as a customer. Of course I immediately ordered and my order was refused on paypal because the postcode on the order didn't match my paypal account one. To give him his due, it was sorted quickly and my order went through on next attempt.

You are probably right richieh  -- re a well intentioned vendor  ...... I got notice via Paypal at midnight to say that my order had been dispatched ( 5 hours after order placed) so well done there, and the price is to die for but as you rightly say the website is atrocious with a lot of bugs that the vendor must surely be aware of and which have caused worry and panic in a lot of customers. ..... I wonder how many potential customers are put off by this shambles. Any how, a bargain buy at this price!

Took the plunge & ordered 100ml x 72mg nic base in pg.

Placed an order 04.09.2013 and got the same runaround when I paid, of course first thought is WTF is going on..
Checked my paypal and found payment made, so dashed of a couple of e-mails to customer service & webmaster.No response at the time, so managed to get Vendors phone number and called.
Call was answered by a very helpful femail who apologised,but explained it was new site and the vendor was out. Took my name & number with a promise to get him to call me back.

He did indeed call back, apologised for the inconvenience and said it was caused by an error between Paypal and his site.
Since then I have had notification that my order has been shipped 05.09.2013 (yesterday) Nothing turned up as yet, but I do beleive it's a genuine site just with teething problems....

Will keep you all posted when it turns up..

BTW Rich64 if you realy do have too much nic base I have a very large bin here for you to dispose of safely..

My shipment arrived yesterday but was returned to the sorting office .

Picked it up an hour ago and its all good

I doubt it will last but a month or so of this price and id be sorted for years.

Excellent price,excellent communication, excellent delivery time,excellent service overall.....truly horrible website and checkout creates suspicion where theres no need.
