ITV for the most part is not that good. BBC is mostly repeats. The news is mostly doom and gloom so my advice would be sell the tv and buy some vaping gear. Only kidding hope you get the aerial sorted otherwise you might decide to give the x factor a go next year.  My viewing today Moto GP - Vuelta - MCE superbikes - Xfactor - dragons den- now watching tour of alberta. I need to get out and have a life. |

I do enjoy Doc Martin got to say . . . Martin Clunes creases me, but other than that and X Factor I watch very little ITV.

I also loved Doc Martin, but I watched last weeks first episode of the new series, and switched off part way through because it got totally stupid IMO. I may have had too many drinks, so will try again this week with episode two, but if doesn't improve, I'll follow chrisjw and take up knitting!  |

I don't watch Doc Martin Perps but I did enjoy watching Martin Clunes when he travel the world when he done horsepower. The adverts on sky do my head in. lawyers-payday loans- and adverts asking to give £2 a week to for every tom dick and harry. Don't get me wrong, I feel for the people but its like every 5 minutes someone is on the tv asking for money.
Have to agree about ITV, if it wasn't for Xfactor and the footie and sometimes the chase, I wouldn't watch ITV at all so I can only sympathise with Raffles being stuck with ITV only.

In all honesty I struggle to find anything especially watchable for me and normally resort to watching the CSI repeats on 5 USA. Though I did watch a spooky film last night and regretted it! |

In all honesty I struggle to find anything especially watchable for me and normally resort to watching the CSI repeats on 5 USA. Very true Perps... I look at the TV listings, Sky and all, and think there is nothing there I want to watch. I can still get CH4 & 5 and there's sometimes an interesting programme. Perhaps it's time we all switched off and went out to experience REAL life... a bit scary though!  |

I thought it was a great show,but I have been on the Guinness most of the afternoon,and even the wife's singing sounded good,not!!!(shhh,don't tell her I said that) Yes... It's a bit of entertainment... but IMO it's all so false and pre determined. At one point the judges all put their 'thumbs up' in unison... probably took them a couple of hours to rehearse that. Won't be watching again... I'd rather watch a blank screen... Sorry to those that like it.  I have to agree with everything you've said,my point being is the more you drink the better tv gets,lmao |

I don't watch tv all week as I work nights,so I have to endure the rubbish that's on at the weekend,that's if I am not out enjoying my other hobby(kite flying)but the beer does make it a tad easier to watch |
