help needed

hi guys ok I have a prob and its a strange one
just purchased a second hand  chamelieon mod love it to bits great craftsmanship
but
im running a full ss atty on it and when I vape my tounge some times tuches the driptip and I get a sort of elctrick shock like when you lick an alarm batery to see if ther is charge in it
now I do this sounds dum
if I use a normal say iclear 30 or any atty wich is insulated or has any plastic tube between the base and tip its fine
ive tryed this with my new igo l and igo w all the same
some how its discharging statick or power when switched off
this is a mec mod with manuel switch
no multie meter hear as im in the uk for a couple off days
any ideas
oh ive tryed 6 dif batts al the same

is the driptip touching the centre post?
Try pulling it half out and see if its still doing it

its a terminator atty same with my aga t tryed the terminator on two other mods and its fine

well seems no one has any ideas
just put the mtr on and im getting 3.8volts at the drip tip

Definitely sounds like a wiring problem in the mod to me..............other than that, I can't really help..........

Yeah sorry, what I mean is, it sounds like an earthing fault if there is such a thing in a mech mod, because it seems the drip tip is making direct contact with the battery......weird.........

Is the battery shorting out on the side of the mod, is the battery or mod getting hot? It's the only thing I can think of

Just a thought have you by any chance left a silica "O" ring out of the atty and the "O" ring acts as an insulator, or is the second hand mod missing some type of insulator where the atty fits.

no the atty works fine on another mod/vv  and i get the same efect if i change for any other ss atty
if i take the atty of and use the mtr the top of the mod still has 3.8 volts but it is shelded by like a nilon bush ill upload some pics with mtr if i can

ok hear we go
not sure if any of you have seen the chameleon mod before it works with a sliding ss steal ring with is the switch
so the bat inserted cap screwed on will make the post live always but wont fire untill the slide the ring switch up and complete the circuit
(now thinking about this the atty will be live the switch is earthing to complete its loop not to send power design fault)
answered my own question maybe this is why the guy went out of business ha ho but i get chance to show off my mods
but strange even with orings in place around drip tip and push on cap how the power still transfers to the tip

one last thought if i activate the switch then draw and place tongue on the drop tip its fine its only when i touch it and its not activated

Hi punisher, I have a chameleon mod and have had no problem's no
matter what atty I put on it.

I searched for the mod maker ( Dancer ) over on ukvapers forum, but no joy.

banky what attys are you actually using ?
if i say use some thing like a vivi nova or an atty where the top section is isolated its fine
i will email todd asking thanks for that
could you do a test for me if you have say a ss driper atty or some thing similar and just attach it make sure she is fireing and without activating rest the tip of your tongue on the drip tip
